Senior Topography Manager

To lead all topographic activities on the Sharan Resort project, from initial site surveys to final layout checks, ensuring accuracy, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to project schedules in a complex and high-profile environment.

Topographic Operations Management :
– Supervise all surveying, staking-out, and geometric control activities.
– Organize and coordinate topographic field surveys and, if required, bathymetric surveys.
– Validate GPS data, digital terrain models (DTMs), and topographic maps.

Team Leadership
– Manage a team of surveyors, assistants, and subcontracted providers.
– Oversee team training and ensure continuous technical upskilling.

Technical Supervision :
– Define suitable topographic methodologies based on site conditions (sand, heat, wind, elevation).
– Ensure the quality and accuracy of all collected and processed data.
– Attend technical meetings with structural, infrastructure, architectural, and geotechnical teams.

Project Interface :
– Work closely with the design office and BIM manager to integrate survey data into 3D models.
– Provide regular progress reports and layout status updates to project management.
– Ensure full compliance with client technical and contractual topographic specifications.

Equipment Management
– Handle procurement, calibration, and maintenance of surveying equipment (total stations, GNSS, drones, 3D scanners, etc.).
– Recommend advanced surveying tools and technologies suited to the project scale and constraints.

Education & Qualifications :
– Engineering degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
– Strong command of international surveying standards and coordinate systems (WGS84, UTM, etc.).

Experience :
– At least 10 years of experience on major international construction or infrastructure projects.
– Previous experience in remote or desert environments is a strong asset.
– Exposure to luxury, high-precision, or resort-type construction projects is preferred.

Technical Skills :
– Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Leica Geo Office, Revit/BIM integration.
– Experienced with LiDAR, drones, and photogrammetry data processing.
– Solid command of technical English (written and spoken).

Soft Skills:
– Natural leadership and ability to manage multicultural teams.
– Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and reliability.
– Excellent communication with construction teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
