Land Surveyor Manager

As Land Surveyor you are based on site, you will be in charge of all geometry and dimensional control of the civil construction site works. You are responsibility for the safe and good practice of field surveying. You will have the following responsibility:

o Start mobilization, site clearance and recognition;
o Establish the benchmarks and perform the network horizontal & vertical control and adjustment;
o Define or agree with the coordinate system and the main axis grid;
o Follow the daily site operations progress;
o Read and understand construction methods and drawings;
o Carry out site survey, setting-out and monitoring requirements in compliance with HSE regulations and client specifications;
o Produce as-built survey drawings, survey reports and QA/QC records requested by Site, Technical Office and Design Department;
o Ensure regular equipment maintenance, check and calibration.

You will be assisted by the Site Technical Office Engineers, the Design Department and your line manager

o Bachelor /Master degree in Construction/Survey Engineering; Geomatics Sciences;
o Skills and on the field experience in surveying and construction site.
o Ability to practice carefully and accurately with usual survey equipment and techniques: dumpy level, total station, DGPS system and associated software’s;
o Good computer understanding and knowledge:
o Windows operating system environment
o Microsoft Office software’s (Excell, Word, etc, …)
o AutoCad Software’s;
o Site minded, enthusiastic, good health and physical condition;
o Fully able to communicate in Dutch, French and English, both verbally and in writing;
o Previous experience on large project is an additional asset.
